Watford now has a new MOT bay for Class 1 & 2 vehicles, which in basic terms is mopeds, motorcycles & motorcycles with a sidecar, HOWEVER trikes & Quads are not included.
Currently bookings are being taken from 9.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday & 10am to 5pm on Saturday, this may change as the year passes, but hopefully the website will be updated asap...
If your bike does not have a current MOT & you wish to ride it to the testing station you must ensure we have all the required details of your bike, the rider & a booked MOT time to make it legal for you to ride the bike to AVSCO.
Please ensure your bike is clean before you bring it down & you have checked it out to the best of your abilities as this may save you time & money having to return after rectification work has been done. Also consider that if you ask us to fix any failure points these cannot always be done on demand so your bike may be off the road for a few days.
If you have a small number plate or a 'not for road use' exhaust, or other aftermarket modifications that are not legal, please fit the originals before presenting the bike for its Test
The Fee for solo bikes is £28.00
